If you wish to buy a Pro X PSU at the same time as a SuperSwitch X, the most cost-effective way to do so is within the SuperSwitch X listing: simply choose the Pro X rather than Plus level.
We commissioned a master of the craft to design the internals of our Pro X Linear PSU, a class-leading fully linear low impedance design using high quality components to provide any Reiki Audio header unit with stable, clean, low ripple low noise DC power. This hand-assembled, high performance linear PSU will release the true potential of your Reiki Audio product; its 5v DC output also makes the fully linear Pro X PSU suitable for powering a wide range of streamers, reclockers and other components.
The Pro X is an upgraded version of our PRO PSU with a 10mm thick case, new footer options, and a 25% larger Audio Grade transformer. Echoing the superb aesthetics of our header units, the Pro X PSU combines class-leading custom-designed low noise circuitry with classic Reiki Audio attention to detail including a beautiful ceramic-coated milled aluminium case and no LED’s.
The class-leading low impedance design uses high quality components to provide the Superswitch with stable, clean, low ripple, low noise DC power to release the true potential of your Superswitch X. Our high quality, custom-designed circuitry includes Wima film decoupling capacitors for superior attenuation of HF noise, used throughout the circuit; Audio Note KAISEI output capacitor - the ultimate smoothing capacitor from the Japanese masters; Nichicon audio grade capacitors, including MUSE series - various audio grade ranges used throughout the regulator module; Dale high precision resistors, used for the critical voltage divider stage at the regulator output; and high value tantalum bypass capacitor for better DC smoothing in the mid-regulator stage.
The Pro X PSU’s 10mm aluminium top plate perfectly accommodates the Superswitch X; together with the copper-lined 10mm aluminium base plate of the Superswitch X, there is therefore one layer of copper and 20mm of aluminium isolating the Superswitch X circuitry from the PSU’s circuitry and transformer.
As the result of an exciting new partnership with Stack Audio, we are now able to offer an upgrade to a specially commissioned threaded version of the excellent Auva EQ isolators. Photos show mix of standard aluminium/silicone feet and Stack Auva.
DC cable: every Pro X PSU is supplied as standard with a 60cm RakuDC+ cable to connect your Pro X PSU to your SuperSwitch X. Other lengths are available at RakuDC+ cable and shielded variants are available at RakuDC PRO.
Mains power (AC) cable: the Reiki Audio Pro X PSU does not, as standard, come with a power cable as most audiophiles prefer to use a cable of their own choice.
